The Digital Infrastructure Insights Fund (D//F) selected IDE's question, “Where does the open public-warning stack stop being open?”, as one of the projects of its final open call, with a grant of USD 5,000. The grant funds an exploratory report and a summary blog post on the accessible, non-auditory rendering layer of the Common Alerting Protocol, IPAWS and Wireless Emergency Alerts: who maintains it, under what mandate, and where responsibility for it is absent.
